For my professional podcast, I listened to one from the series “Podcasts for Teachers” “Podcasts for Teachers” which originates from Fordham University. The two presenters focused on their recent experiences at the NECC Conference (National Educational Computing Conference). They discussed many items including Media Literacy in education, integrating art and technology into all classes and classroom robotics. It was interesting to listen to their discussion and to hear about newly introduced technology items. I was interested in their piece on websites such as Paperback Swap and the Frugal Reader where you can swap books with other people and on the discussion about how the integration of art helps to reach all types of learners. It was a little bit long but I enjoyed hearing about some of the up and coming technologies that will be available to us. Art teachers might especially like to hear about some of the art tools. I would rate this podcast ****.
