We have been blogging at wchmaloney.edublogs.org for two weeks now. It has been going pretty well besides some problems with getting on at school. The students have great insights and would love if other teachers post. Our 2nd blog titled Rules Blog #2 is about if Rules are good or bad so it applies to everyone.
Steph I’ll think about ways to use Technology in math and get back to you. Using the SMARTboard is a great start.

This sounds really awesome and it is so cool that Kevin is blogging with another classroom in Wheatland-Chili! I just dont know how i can use this in math? Im just a beginner to all this and I feel so uncreative ): What can I do? Any ideas?

I agree with all 3 of you- I prefer plurk because I feel more comfortable with the layout and it feels mre user friendly. Plus I like welcoming strangers are and helpful when getting started. I haven’t used it to build my PLN net because I am still getting comfortable with it but I see the possibilities and amd finally understanding the degree to which it can benefit students. Im lookibng forward to learning more…i just wish i had more time!

I want to love Plurk and Twitter, but am struggling. I feel overwhelmed trying to keep up and seem to have neiher the time or patience to sit and go through everything without becoming frustrated. I’m sure with time it will get better

The virtual field trip sounds great. Is that something I can find online? I’d love to show my students that. I’ve never heard of a flip camcorder either so it’ll be fun to see your results. Keep me posted as to when you’re finished, I’d love to look at it!
